ARTMETOD is an independent platform for contemporary art, based in New York and operating worldwide.We started with writing. In 2022 the project launched as an editorial space — close readings of contemporary art, critical reviews, and essays that took seriously the idea that art needs to be talked about as much as seen. That practice of criticism is still at the core of everything we do.From there we grew. Today ARTMETOD produces exhibitions, festivals, and discussion panels — curatorial projects built around artists and ideas we believe in, on our own terms, without institutional prescription. We are not affiliated with any gallery or institution. We choose what we work on and why.What connects the writing, the exhibitions, and the panels is a single conviction: that contemporary art requires active, independent voices to shape the conversation around it. Not just to document what is happening, but to question it, frame it, and push it somewhere.We work internationally. The project has no fixed address beyond New York as a base — the work happens wherever it needs to.
